Inspiring Christian students

to stand against injustice.

The first Just Love began amongst the dreaming spires of Oxford, where a group of Christian students ran a homeless outreach. Today, Just Love’s Oxford branch holds a weekly meeting and runs three main ongoing projects. Our vision is to equip students in Oxford to strive towards Christ’s kingdom through making a stand against injustice both at home and abroad.

We meet every week to do a bible study and share food. We want God’s word to be at the heart of everything we do and we aim to provide lots of space to discuss recent news events and pray together. We launch every term with a speaker event to hear from someone who works in a justice-related field and to share with one another what’s been happening in the ongoing projects.

If you want to get involved, contact us! Download our term card, and keep in touch with us on Facebook. We’d love to hear from you, so please do email us and ask to be added to our term time mailing list.

Just Lunch - A weekly bible study lunch on a justice-related topic. Contact Ailsa at if you’d like to suggest a study topic or find out more.

Homeless Outreach - 2 weekly outreaches in central Oxford, led by Hannah and the homeless outreach team. We take food, prayer & conversation to Oxford’s homeless community. Contact Hannah at if you’d like to take part or find out more.

HTAG (Human Trafficking Action Group)
- Weekly meetings to discuss human trafficking as well as wider issues relating international development. We aim to find ways to get involved in campaigns against global injustice and see what the bible has to say about it. Get in touch with Zach at for more information about events and campaigns.

Caring for Creation - Weekly meetings to share ideas about sustainable living and how best we can care for our planet. We think it's really important to be responsible stewards of the Earth because it's a gift from God and because climate change and pollution affect the lives of billions of the world's poorest. Contact Olly at for more info.

Just Love is also working in partnership with Oxford University Students’ Union on the Fairtrade Certification Campaign. We are calling for colleges and university departments to take steps to become certified by the Fairtrade Foundation as we believe that supporting Fairtrade is a simple way in which we can all make consumer choices which honour God’s children around the world. Contact Harriette at to find out more or get involved.
