Inspiring Christian students

to stand against injustice.

Who we are.

Just Love Bath works to inspire, encourage and enable students to engage with social justice in Bath and the wider world. There are three main ways you can get involved:

Bath has a large homeless community as well as an unexpectedly high number of elderly residents. For both of these groups loneliness can be a big part of their everyday lives. We are passionate about coming alongside them as friends and giving them our time. Our current projects include:

1. Homeless Outreach on Sunday evenings

2.  Volunteering with The Genesis Trust at their:
-   Nightly soup run
-   Sunday lunch centre

3.  Elderly care home visits on Saturday mornings

We recently hosted an evening promoting the work of The Genesis Trust in Bath and we are in the process of organising an Afternoon Tea for the elderly. We are always open to new and different ideas of ways to reach out to the vulnerable people of the city. Get in touch with the local coordinators to find out more:

We have a focus on prayer for justice systems, for transformation of prisoners and strength for persecuted Christians.

We continue to grow a relationship with the charity International Justice Mission and a couple of members of Just Love Bath are running the Bath Half Marathon for IJM this year. We are also looking to organise a Stand for Freedom to raise awareness of the appalling numbers of modern day slaves across our world today.

We continue to pray for and support Globe Café run by the Christian Union, which sees over 50 international students served a free lunch every week as the volunteers long to introduce the love of Jesus to these students.

The personal strand of Just love, Bath deals with the many things we can do in our own lives to make a difference to the lives of those who are vulnerable, marginalised and oppressed. We aim to raise awareness of Fairtrade and encourage everyone to live ethically in every single aspect of their lives.

We also write a weekly blog with topics ranging from Theology to simple tips and tricks on how to do social justice. We actively get involved in projects such as Fairtrade Fortnight, #40Acts, Live Below the Line and many many more! There are so many ways to get involved! Write us a blog, take part in some of our events. The possibilities are endless!
